I have a 2008 Acadia SLT2. Last weekend, during a rainstorm, I noticed that the wipers were not moving very fast. I checked the voltage meter on the instrument cluster and it was down below 13 volts. When im driving around town- on long city streets- as soon as I hit 45 MPH--- my trans shifts into 6th gear- and drops RPMs down to 1300 or so. I usually notice this on a long street every morning when im headed to the freeway- 4 miles from home. Anybody figure it out. My 2014 GMC Acadia Just started do the same exact thing!! Temp gauge drops to straight down, Fan blowing full and loud, A/C still Blows but Not cold and the recirculation button flashes. Kind of odd that it is the 2014's that have started doing this. Another way for GMC to make up spend money.
