Use power tools and turn off SMT if using Yuzu, and set GPU to normal (this breaks some graphics in cities). Ryujinx - no settings will make it better. It's the game that runs poorly. Wait for a Nintendo patch for it to run on Deck. Stream it from a more powerful PC.

BOTW is better in Cemu, it’s a weird edge case that will always run better. That said, yes, BOTW has been improved massively over the last few months and now works with the Vulkan renderer which is much faster. Yuzu has a flatpak that's available directly to the from the "app store" that comes default with the flavor of Linux they're using. So it's literally just search and click install.
