The earliest version (in the '13) did not have a fuel rail system that works, so had all of the problems pulling hills as mentioned plus my check engine light would come on 10+ times a day. My '15 solved all the problems and was a great engine.

The engine itself has had no problems. The emissions has has sensors fail. I still have a 2012 and outside of a NOX sensor has 300,000 with only normal maintenance. The 2013 has 270,000 and is not the same fuel system as the 12, it had some sensors give trouble the first year but not much since.
