I'm not sure how to explain it because I use Windows but find a youtube tutorial specifically for installing and using Gshade on Mac and follow it one step at a time. The pre-installed presets are for another game by the way. But if you download a preset for the Sims 4, Gshade is made to be compatible with it.No one has made reshade for Mac. I use Luumia's noglo and noblu, but my caveat is that I use an iMac that can run the highest settings without burping. If your MacBook can't handle ultra-high (or whatever the highest setting is called) it will CHUG using lighting mods.
