Jul 24, 2008 · bowtech General problem. got a new bowtech general about 2 months ago. It has been great until last friday 7/18/08. I went outside to shoot and when i drew it back the bow blew up. The lower axle and cam came off and hit the cable suppressor rod. Where the axle goes through the lower limb and about 3"s in front of the axle the limbs just gave away.

The last Bowtech I had was the Reckoning 35 and this bow is WAY better imo. Much better balance and much smoother on the shot. Just have to get deflections close. 60# experience would be pretty close. Could just put a couple extra twists in the cables to get it all the way there. I would get new screws for where the cam blocks attach to the limbs.
