I thought only hatchlings were marked as cursed. I have done runs with pistols and not had scavs treat me any different from other players. you need atleast 1 extra mag with pistol runs. if you dont have extra mags you will be tagged and cursed. and ofc you have to have ammo in the mags. 1.MP5 is my highest leveled gun.
