Difference between glock 43x and 43x mos.
The 48MOS is now my favorite Glock, and I can always toss the 43X slide on it if I want something a little more compact. The MOS slides are the only ones you can have milled for an RMRCC while keeping the rear dovetail. That's a win. The non-MOS slim frames (except for 42/43) are kind of superfluous and a waste, imo.
Regardless, the 43x and 48 both have the same lower so a shield arms 15 round magazine is on the table. There's no hiding from the fact that the 43x is a smaller footprint and there's certainly merit in that. It comes down to personal preference. The longer slide and barrel was a worthwhile investment for the added benefits in my case.#1 · May 27, 2021. PDP F-Series is definitely larger. I ha e the 3.5" and my son carries a 43x. The PDP is wider than the G43x. But the PDP also carries 15 rds in stock mags. And the trigger on any PDP is soooooo much better than Glock triggers.

You can put a 48 and 48mos slide on it too.

Mar 31, 2017 · The Glock 48 uses the same frame as the Glock 43x. The Shield Arms S15 mags work in both the 43X and 48. The difference between the 48 and 43x is the barrel length. The 48 has a 4.1" barrel similar to the G19 while the 43x is smaller at 3.4". For me personally the longer barrel lengths carry nicer while in AIWB.
The better of the 2 is the Canik by a wide margin (in my opinion). However, that's if Canik has addressed the issues the MC9 had which I am pretty sure they have already done so. The initial OEM G48 / Glock 43X magazine offerings increased capacity to 10 rounds but still kept with the original G43’s single-stack design. However, those who were (or are) hoping for compatibility between the G43 and G43X a la G17 and G19 will be disappointed.
