I've read many things from this forum before but finally decided to join as I couldn't find a post with quite the same problem and I'm getting stumped. Truck is a 2003 LB7 I brought back from texas with me a few years ago, shes got about 260k on her right now.The issues started getting worse again. Right up until the engine limped and threw a P0090 code that will not clear. I did not get any other codes. No low or high rail pressures. Ok so Saturday I'm gettin ready to leave work, had moved the truck around to the wash bay, cleaned it up, brought it inside to do detailing on it. get done with that, start it and throws CEL and defaulted to max rail pressure. cleared codes in the truck, light instantly came back on. checked the fault codes and found the only code was p0090 for fuel pressure control circuit.This morning I changed my thermostats in the truck because one was stuck open. I changed it by removing serp belt, ac compressor, removing the two main plugs that rest above the hardline to the upper rad hose. No problem changing them out but I put everything back together and I immediately get a P0090 code.DTC P0090 is a Type A DTC. The ECM commands the engine to operate in the Reduced Engine Power mode.
