The museum includes a Safety Education Center, a store, a room on regional firefighting history, and an area honoring firefighters who have given their lives in fighting fires in addition to the major exhibit area. The Vintage Fire Museum is an 501(c)(3) exempt organization. Vintage Fire Museum is a BBB Accredited Charity.

The museum will be open Wednesday through Saturday 10am to 4 pm from June 1st until until September 1st. The museum not only will be open but will have Fire Safety Fun activities on Wednesdays, Fire Rescue Game on Thursdays and Story Time on Fridays, all at 11am! In 1997 a group of fire buffs and veteran firefighters came together with a desire to chronicle and preserve the historical record of these advancements. A museum would provide a place where past firefighting successes (and disasters) would enlighten future generations, and encourage continuing advancements in fire prevention and firefighting.

Huge fire fighting museum representing very early fire fight equipment through modern times from various states and several foreign countries. Very well laid out with a carry along loose leaf binder explaining each exhibit. They even have trucks and equipment from the 9-11 World Trade Center. Great place to visit and will be back again.
