Im rather familiar with modding but GW 2 seems so much more complicated because the game gets updates. I cant seem to get presets to work properly. I am able to install hook and reshade files in bin and addons. And reshade boots up fine in game (although i get alot of yellow texts in the log, so Im not sure what it means). An extremely modest ReShade preset for clarity. [Fluff] I wanted a ReShade preset that touches up the game ever so slightly, with no performance hit and/or blowing up my eyes with bloom. I also didn't want to be one of those people who slap 500 shaders into a preset without knowing how they work. This is what I ended up with.
The first one worked for me. I needed to disable DX11 Beta, Install ArcDPS + DX12proxy via unofficial addon manager, then install GShade with DX12 selected. I have read somewhere that you can use DX9 for both ArcDPS and GShade, you need to install GShade first then rename the d9dx.dll to GShade64.dll then install ArcDPS via unofficial addon ...CeeJay's SweetFX 1.5 package on the other hand hooks into the game problem free. I place SweetFX 1.5 into the main directory of Guild Wars 2 next to Gw2.exe.
