I’ve debated it for a few years, and have come to the conclusion that I really want a septum piercing. However, my family is very against piercings. I’m currently in college, and I live on campus during the week, and then go back to my parents’ house on the weekend, so they’d end up seeing it if I got one.You can get it pierced with a retainer, leave it flipped up till it's healed. Then change it out when you want to for when you're not at work. The only times I have had a retainer for my septum fall out is when I was messing with it before going to sleep or something.
