The only real downside is that you have to pick which patch you put in the dir for Dream Radar, the black2 one or the white2 one. You can then use Godmode9 to swap them in and out, but still it's clunky. It happens on both my old 3DS and new 2DS XL using default settings. DS Mode specifically is what doesn't work, (SRs extremely fast but hangs afterward when you continue your save) using DSi mode makes it work like it did on previous TWLMenu/NDS-Bootstrap versions, where it SRs properly but takes ~25 seconds extra
