John deere instrument panel not working.
The operator manual has a wiring diagram, but like a lot of automotive diagrams, the instrument cluster is shown as a box with a few wires attached. No details of the internal wiring to the gauges. Do the dial gauges work (tach, fuel gauge, temp gauge)? On my 5525 the oil pressure and battery displays are just idiot lights, not dial gauges.

Open the hood and remove the fan screen. In the same place where the screen slid in, you can feel with your fingers, two little tabs about 8 inches apart.
