My 243 is a sweet shooter, but a real barrel burner due to its big overbore. The '06 and 270 are less than the 243, and 308 is slightly less than '06. The '06 is a big case and eats a lot of powder. Powder costs per load of 168gr range from $0.18 to $0.35 per shot. 223 loads are about half of this.
