I have one that takes a light tap to get it to go the last bit. 2) Make sure mag is out. 3) Don't try to rotate the takedown lever clockwise with the slide closed. Slide must be locked back to turn the lever clockwise.

On my P320 I took the slide off the frame, took the take down lever out, put a little TW25 on it, reinserted and worked it multiple times with the slide still off the frame. With it in the 6:00 position put the slide back on and return the lever to normal. Lock the slide back and work the lever to the 6:00 and back up multiple times. Full size .45 with new flat lever that is very hard to turn, compact .45 with old raised lever that is easy to turn. Swapped levers between the guns and both turned without a problem. P220 W.
