I took my test Jan 17th so I can’t yet tell you how I actually did on CARS but I was getting 128-132 on the CARS sections of the AAMC practice exams. I actually found the AAMC material easier.The real MCAT feels harder, but the curve is better so the score ends up fine. I wouldn't say it's a difference of yield, that can vary across tests, and even difficulty of the real day varies, but the curve evens it out in the end. I personally believe UWORLD is much harder. The impression I got is that OP is at the start of AAMC qpack 1, which is probably some of the tougher passages out there. It gets much better about 1/3 of the way through it, to the point it’s much easier than UWORLD.
