Magus Class has a very tight action economy. It is even worse than a Spellcaster. It is hard to mix in any Archetype that isn't a Spellcasting archetype (for more Spellstrike options). Magus Archetype does not regain Spellstrike in combat. If you were planning Ranged Magus, Eldritch Archer might be a better option.
