Jeep jk running hot.

Mine only appears to be running hot after I have been going down the road and have the A/c on. If I turn the A/C off, the temp goes back down after a mile or so. Speed does not seem to matter... only the A/C running. The jeep is a 2004 4.0L 5 speed. As noted JK's with with the 3.6 run hot.. fan does not usually kick in till 226-228.. so if under load, steep hill for example, temps in the 230's can be expected.. Best advise is to make sure you have the least amount of stuff you can blocking the grill. sink the winch down in frame, remove grill inserts etc.

Noticed yesterday that the jeep was running really hot, hot enough actually to make the idiot chime tell me to look at the gauges. When I started actually paying close attention to it the needle was staying at the third little hash mark on the gauge (so technical right).

my 2014 Willys just started running hot recently. I had the rad flushed/serviced about a month ago....then BAM, out of no where...my temps climb past 235 and the dial starts to move off of center. I have the feature to see the temp on the gauge cluster...and it'll bounce from 208-235 in the stretch of a mile. AC on. If I turn it off, same thing.

A built in timer/relay causes the system to go Closed Loop after a few minutes of the engine running. 2013 jk running hot above 3000 rpm. I can’t find any leaks in the system. I did try bleeding it today and no luck. Coolant is full an so is the reservoir is just below max. Started to overheat after a trip to an ORV park but I washed the radiator out and its pretty clean on the outside. Also drained and refilled the system completely.
