I recently purchased a Gen 2 Staccato P from a dealer at a gun show and it had the TTI magwell already installed, but the dealer gave me the old one. I went to take it off this evening and after removing the pin, the magwell will not move at all. I tried pulling it forward and then down, and even attempted to use a small rubber mallet.Posted October 18, 2010. Take the slide off, ease the hammer forward, push the mainspring housing retaining pin out slowly. When The pin comes out, try holding the mainspring housing in place as best you can. That keeps the sear spring from getting dislodged and also keeps the firing pin strut on the mainspring cap.
