The AoE damage (Plague Infected) from purging the DoT (Plague Carrier) from the Plaguebreak set does not critically hit. Thus far (in Cyrodiil) my recount shows 0 critical hits from Plague Infected. No one is using Azureblight for PvP so they only really have to balance it for PvE. Azureblight is also less versatile. If you run Azureblight you're pretty much pure dot build or the set is going to be pretty bad. I would appreciate a mechanic that forced you to purge strategically, this isn't it. It's pointless to purge plaguebreak because a single light attack would just reapply it. With no cool down. Plaguebreak is the strongest compliment. You have to make the kill with VD for explosion, but Plaguebreak can go off from another player killing them, or even killing a guard with it.
