For breakins I've used Remington UMC 95 gr (Rn FMJ) and Choice Ammo 100 gr round Nose Hollow Base ammo. My Kimber Collection. Micro 9 ESV. Micro 9 Stainless. Micro 380 Stainless Raptor. After about 600 rnds the 380 started to fail to feed occasionally and after about 800 rnds it got so bad I contacted Kimber and received a heavier spring and guide.
