Volatile flow wont work if you have 3 weapon surges on. The max you can have is 2. Volatile flow doesn't work with Hard light or gravtion lance. But Echo of Instability (void fragments) works with Hard light and Gravtion lance. Other void weapons seem to have no issues activating volatile rounds. afaik, volatile isn’t going to do a lot in pvp bc the threshold to trigger the volatile explosion is like 200 damage vs a player (aka more than most players health unless they have an overshield). I could be wrong, but yeah i’m pretty sure volatile rounds is just nuts in pve.
