Hard reset by pushing the red button for ~10 sec until you see the Logo on the TV. Immediately soft reset (momentary red button push) 7 times in a row when Logo appears on the TV. TV sets normally should not turn on by themselves. However there is one way that the the sets can turn on by themselves and that is by using the alarm feature on the sets. So That maybe the case.
