In a 1v1 you have two options (three for bomb or hostage) first you can try to move quickly to one side of the Monty to get an angle to melee his back. This is unlikely to happen as the Monty will just follow you so you never see his back. It's easier to do with a 3 speed obviously because you can juke around him easier.
