NOW if you want to go one step farther... disconnect the rod... push it up in the block and pull the crank... use a good hammer and a good screwdriver or brass rod and knock the steel pressed on gear off the crank (the big one that drives the governor).. toss it in the scrap bin and put it all back together.

Another guys engine that ran most of the season was almost ready to chew through the stem and drop a valve. The Predator's pull strong in stock configuration, and using a ~5000 ish RPM limit set by tweaking the governor linkage and checking the maximum RPM post race would be ideal with the intent of the class and the stock flywheel.

You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. It is VERY easy to do. The reason you must is there is a PLASTIC gear inside that controls the governor.
BTW, since it is a 212cc on a Dingo with (assuming) 18" Tires you should be using a Torque Converter. If a 30 series with 6" Driven pulley, it will have a 10% overdrive. If you gear the kart 6:1 with a TC, in overdrive it will be 5.4 :1. 5000 RPM. 5.4 :1 Gear Ratio.
