Speed does not seem to matter... only the A/C running. The jeep is a 2004 4.0L 5 speed. I am not the original owner but have had the jeep for more than 2 years.

Haven't done a test yet but I believe that removing the air dam is a big contributing factor to hot Jk's. The air dam creates a low pressure area that helps pull air through the radiator. ... but in the programming. Welcome to the world of Jeep emisions, they like to run the engine hot. Try leaving the AC on it will turn the engine fan on Low and keep coolant temps down. The 35's and 3.73 is putting a strain on the motor too making it work harder to keep up to speed. 2016 Red Rock #31.

Yes it does ope at 206 and can to up to 236. I am about to order a cold on for my 2014 jeep wrangler unlimited. I know they say it could hurt performance, that is bull because mine runs lot better when it is cold. The thermostat won't help, it only controls the lowest running temperature of the engine, not the highest.

Blend door actuator for sure for the no-heat-in-the-cabin deal, but the engine overheating seems far out for that. maybe a clogged heater core (might impede flow) Im dealing with no heat in cabin right now, except on the highest setting. Likely the actuator, but at only 17,000 miles is frustrating.
