Much appreciated. 23 YP here: brembo up front mando with cover in the back. From what I've read, the consensus is that this isn't a big deal. mando rears are lighter than brembo. The cover is in the rear, the front is painted. But even though the front is painted it's the same 4 piston Brembo that the MYLR has.

The model X has a much higher probability of exterior fit and finish issues related to FWD alignment, seals, trim. Unless your wife wants the bigger, faster, more “prestige” vehicle, the model X is not worth the premium. The Y is the better everyday vehicle. You can do $2000 coil overs for better comfort.

I'm not sure what some expect in a car labeled "performance," but I describe the MYP ride as "supple," not nearly as jarring as my M3 with stock suspension. The MYP beats the M3 in driving dynamics, beats the Prius in practicality, and beats both in long-haul comfort. For me, after 5K miles, the ride perfect.Quality: MYP was flawless.
